Originally, the agreement was called CAFTA and incompassed the U.S. and Central American countries. In 2004, Dominican Republic joined and the agreement was renamed CAFTA-DR. The free trade agreement is among the following: Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and the United States.
The CAFTA-DR free trade agreement, is one of the reasons we believe business will improve greatly in Dominican Republic.
